Session: Exploring Children's Rights and AI - Breaking News!

Trained as a data scientist, Morgan currently serves as the Research Associate for Data Science and Ethics within the Ethics Theme of the Public Policy Programme at The Alan Turing Institute. Her work lies at the intersection of data science, human rights, ethics, responsible research and innovation, and sustainable development. She has engaged with a variety of public sector organisations across different sectors and topics including children’s rights, health, education, and regulation and contributed to research with the Global Partnership on AI, the Council of Europe, UNICEF, and the Information Commissioner’s Office. Morgan co-leads the Ethics Theme’s programme of work on children’s rights which currently involves a collaboration between Children’s Parliament, Scottish AI Alliance, and The Alan Turing Institute. In addition to her role at The Alan Turing Institute, Morgan serves as an Associate Teaching Fellow with the Oxford Character Project at the University of Oxford, where she co-leads weekly sessions on virtue ethics and organisational hazards related to the tech sector.
